ACS Surgery: Principles and Practice’s CME program is sponsored by Core Medical Publishing, which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. This educational activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the ACCME.
ACS Surgery: Principles and Practice’s CME program is available both online and in print.
Core Medical Publishing designates this enduring material in both formats for a maximum of 5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim Credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The entire activity consists of 12 self-assessments a year at 5 Credits each for a total of 60 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits(s) TM per year available both online and in print.
Starting with the June 2011 CME, self-assessments will be valid for Credits for 36 months.
Online subscribers will need to renew their subscriptions if they fail to complete the 12 self-assessments that are valid for Credits for 36 months within their subscription period. Once your subscription to ACS Surgery: Principles and Practice CME online expires, you will need to renew your subscription in order to access the online CME self-assessments or to gain access to your Logbook.
When you complete each self-assessment online, a certificate of Credit will be generated automatically, which you may printout and submit directly to your board or other organization. You may access your certificates at any time from the CME Logbook, as long as you remain an active subscriber to the CME program.
NEW: We now offer convenient bundles of ACS Surgery plus 1, 2, or 3 years of CME. Save up to 15% when you purchase a multi-year package.
