In June 2013 ACS Surgery's CME program will be jointly
sponsored by AKH Inc., Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare, which is
accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical
Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for

program is available online only.
Self-assessments are valid
for Credits for 36 months with a valid subscription. The program
offers 12 self-assessments annually for a possible maximum total of
60 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM.
Subscribers will need to renew their subscriptions if they
fail to complete the 12 self-assessments within their subscription
When you complete each self-assessment online, a certificate
of credit will be generated automatically, which you may printout
and submit directly to your board or other organization. You may
access your certificates at any time from the CME Logbook, as long
as you remain an active subscriber to the CME program.
New requirements: Starting
with the September 1, 2013, CME you will need to achieve a passing
grade of 75% to qualify for your CME credit. Please ensure that you
review the answers and discussions provided with the CME
self-assessment to guarantee a passing grade. You may take the
self-assessments as often as you wish. Please note that CME credits
can also now count as self-assessment credits toward Part 2 of the
ABS MOC Program.
Disclosure Policy: It is the
policy of AKH Inc. to ensure independence, balance, objectivity,
scientific rigor, and integrity in all of its continuing education
