Hepatorenal Bypass

Hepatorenal bypass.9 (a) Exposure of the common hepatic artery and the proximal gastroduodenal artery in the hepatoduodenal ligament in preparation for hepatorenal bypass (typically through a right subcostal skin incision). (b, c) The reconstruction is completed by placing a greater saphenous vein interposition graft between the side of the hepatic artery and the distal end of the transected right renal artery.
